William Frederic Wachter ’60

William Frederic Wachter ’60 died peacefully on June 24, 2014, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Roberta, daughter Amy, son-in-law Bill, grandson Spencer and brother Robert. He was predeceased by son Mark. He was an attorney at the National Labor Relations Board and the U.S. Congressional Office of Compliance and a proud public servant for many years. He was an avid sailor, skier, cyclist and traveler. A memorial service was held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the William Wachter Memorial Fund, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 301 A St., SE, Washington, DC 20003.
