Walter A. Bowlby Jr. ’58

Walter A. Bowlby Jr. ’58 passed away September 10, 2024. Walt grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey, and raised his family in nearby Middletown. At Dartmouth he majored in math, was a brother at Delta Kappa Epsilon, and captained the freshman tennis team. His children say, “He was an excellent golfer and tennis player and enjoyed all sports. One of the life lessons we will take forward is that it’s never too late to spend time with loved ones and make new memories.” Walt’s wife predeceased him in 1998.
