Susan A. Lichtig ’73

Susan A. Lichtig ’73 died on September 18, 2019, at her home in East Windsor, New Jersey. A native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, she attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, majoring in French. Susan came to Dartmouth as a member of the College’s first coeducational exchange program, and was adopted in 2017 as a member of the class of 1973. After graduation from Wheaton she earned a master of education degree in educational media at Boston University. For most of her working career Susan was a quality assurance professional and a corporate training instructor and designer at Bellcore, Telcordia, ADP, and the International Monetary Fund. Susan’s greatest passion was creative expression, cooking gourmet meals for family and friends, developing mixed-media art, and teaching art in senior centers and other venues. She enjoyed playing the violin, summer living in France, dancing, spending time with friends, and vacationing in Maine. Susan is survived by her sisters, Karen and Ellen.
