Stephen Andrew Loomis ’65

Stephen Andrew Loomis ’65 died on December 8, 2014, in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Andy was born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and attended Lansdowne-Aldan High School. He is survived by daughters Ann and Barbara, grandsons Maddox and Rowan and brother Thomas ’66. At Dartmouth Andy was a member of Alpha Delta/Alpha Delta Phi. After graduation he served in the Peace Corps in Venezuela and in the U.S. Army. Andy was a long-time resident of Canaan, New Hampshire. He worked as a computer programmer at Dartmouth, Mary Hitchcock Hospital, Smith, Batchelder & Rugg and Burlington Coat Factory. After retirement Andy lived at Quail Hollow in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. He will be buried in Canaan Street Cemetery. He was always proud to have been a ’65.
