The Toldeo Museum of Art, where Adam Levine works as director, is undergoing an investigative process to determine the ownership of its Ethiopian art. During this process, which could take decades, artifacts will be on display in both countries at different times. Levine acknowledges that multiple other museums are grappling with the same questions of art ownership and sees the situation as an “opportunity to engage with our Ethiopian colleagues.”
