The Dog Stars, a post-apocalyptic novel by Peter Heller, has been adapted as a movie, in theaters August 28, 2026. Starring Jacob Elordi, Margaret Qualley, and Josh Brolin, the film centers on two people who survive a flu pandemic that wipes out most of humanity.
