Richard Phillip Lederer ’54

Richard Phillip Lederer ’54 passed away on December 28, 2018, in Phoenix. Rich came to Dartmouth from Jackson Heights, New York, where he attended W.C. Bryant High School. At Dartmouth he was an English major and a brother of Tau Epsilon Phi. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army for two years in Germany. In 1956, after discharge, he went to work at Bloomingdales in New York City. In 1960 he joined Hat Corp., and in the following years held various executive positions with several men’s apparel firms. In 1998 Rich retired, moving from Connecticut to Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Judith, and daughters Amy ’82 and Lisa.
