Robert M. Packer III ’67 died on December 14, 2025. Bob came from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, and at Dartmouth majored in English and was a brother of Bones Gate. He received his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina, following a tour of duty as an officer in the U.S. Army. He then practiced internal medicine in Waycross, Georgia, for more than four decades. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan, and is survived by daughters Kathryn and Andi; son Jamie and his wife, Pam; son Rusty and his wife, Courtney; son Brooks and his wife, Kacie; and grandchildren Kennedy, Reese, Emmy Kate, Finley, Annabelle, and Grady.
