Marcus Feldman ’66

Marcus Feldman ’66, a board-certified radiation oncologist, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Short Hills, New Jersey, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Marc grew up in northern New Jersey and graduated from West Orange High School. At Dartmouth he was a member of the Jack-O-Lantern staff. He went on to Rutgers Medical School and the department of radiotherapy at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson and Tumor Institute in Houston, Texas. While at M.D. Anderson he coauthored a paper published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics. Marc practiced at hospitals in Denver and Detroit before settling in Ghent, New York, in the late 1980s. From 1987 until the mid-2000s, when he retired, Marc was director of radiation oncology at Faxton (now Faxton-St. Luke’s) Hospital in Utica, New York, and conducted a private practice in Ghent for more than 20 years. He is survived by daughters Amanda, Kara, and Elise and four grandchildren.
