Jonathan A. Gallo ’63

Jonathan A. Gallo ’63 passed away on May 18. He was from Brooklyn, New York, and attended Haddonfield (New Jersey) High School, where he participated in golf and soccer. Jon majored in biology at Dartmouth, participated in the DOC, and was a brother of Delta Kappa Epsilon, serving as social chairman in his third year and treasurer in his fourth year. He spent his working career in the food industry, specializing in pickles and spices. His career began at Oscar Mayer followed by Claussen Pickles of Woodstock, Illinois, and concluded with J.L. Graffenreid & Sons of Springfield, Missouri, a supplier of pickles and spices. He was president and CEO upon retirement. Jon is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maureen; two daughters; two grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
