James W. Menter ’67 passed away on April 10, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a long fight with lymphoma. Jim came from Stillwater, Minnesota, and at Dartmouth majored in geography, was a member of Alpha Delta Phi and Sphinx, and played football. After graduate work at the University of Minnesota, Jim spent the bulk of his career with Federated Department Stores, retiring in 2007. He married Bobbie in 1979 and, after her retirement in 2010, they traveled the world. He is survived by his wife, daughter Carla, and granddaughter Victoria.
