David Michael Conner ’76

Issue

Mar - Apr 2015

David Michael Conner ’76 passed away on December 2, 2014, after battling cancer. A graduate of the University of Denver law school, David first worked in Denver as a public defender and later with the U.S. Department of Justice. He leaves his wife, Teri, and children Ashton and Gavin. At Dartmouth he was a member of Alpha Chi Alpha and Casque & Gauntlet. He is remembered for his exuberant personality and being down to earth. “Missouri,” as he was known in Hanover, had no use for put-on airs and was quick to pull offenders back into reality. At recent Alpha Chi Alpha get-togethers he was able to reconnect with brothers and reminisce about the old days and share war stories of his adventures as an attorney. He will be remembered as a loyal friend to classmates and acquaintances at Dartmouth and a valued counsel to those he served in his chosen profession.
