David Bennett Dyche Jr. ’54 died September 27, 2025, predeceased by wife Mary and parents Julia and David, class of 1924. At Dartmouth Dave pledged Zeta Psi and served as hockey manager. Dave served two years in the Army following graduation, then earned his M.B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. At Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. Dave rose to senior vice president then completed his banking career at Arthur D. Little. Dave is described by older son David III as “a hockey nut. He put us on skates as soon as we could walk, a die-hard Rangers fan.” He was also happily passionate about the Mets and the Jets. Toward the end of his life, Dave slipped into dementia. He is survived by sons David and Willard, daughters-in-law Jill and Susan, and grandsons Charles and Peter.
