Anthony Moffatt Hauck III ’52 passed away in Raritan Township, New Jersey, on March 3. Tony was born on July 1, 1931, in Somerville, New Jersey, prepared for college at Blair Academy in New Jersey and graduated from Dartmouth with an English major. Tony was a member of Phi Gamma Delta and Navy ROTC. After serving two years on active duty as a naval officer, Tony earned a master’s in electrical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and a master’s in geology and geophysics from MIT in 1960. He then spent his career as a geophysicist with several firms, including Western Electric, Phelps Dodge, McPhar Geophysics, and back to Phelps Dodge, retiring in 1993 as chief geophysicist. Tony is survived by his wife, June, and son Anthony.
