Stephan R. Swirsky ’63 died on August 7 of rapid-onset systemic infection. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and attended James Hillhouse High School.

William Innis Martin ’64 of Grantham, New Hampshire, died of heart failure on July 20.

Richard J. Davey ’65 died on June 13 in Zurich, Switzerland, from complications of progressive neurological diseases. He came to Dartmouth from Niagara Falls, New York.

Hugh B. Lade ’65 died on June 14 in Seattle from primary central nervous system lymphoma. He came to Dartmouth from Kirkland, Washington.

Ronald J. Mario ’65 died on July 20 in Arlington, Virginia. He came to Dartmouth from Keene, New Hampshire, and was an economics major.

George Ropes ’66, an early pioneer in providing objective information about climate change, passed away peacefully in Wilmington, Delaware, on July 8, 2022.

Lewis Robert Achenbach Jr. ’68 of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on August 21.

Douglas Edward Cook ’68, Esq., of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, died on June 16.

John E. Gage ’68 died on June 8 in Henderson, Nevada, from complications of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Randall Rountree Moring ’68 passed away on May 1. He was born in New Orleans and attended boarding schools in Mexico and Switzerland.
