Alfred E. Pill ’55 passed away on January 21 in Newton, Massachusetts. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey and David. He was predeceased by Lois, his wife of 65 years.

Gordon Russell ’55 died November 25, 2023, in Portola Valley, California. He came to Dartmouth from Vermont Academy and Arlington High School in Massachusetts.

R. Thomas Schoonmaker ’55 died December 21, 2023, at Whitemarsh, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Ann, and children Elizabeth, Jane, and Timothy ’79.

Victor Enwar Sitty ’55 passed away on November 26, 2023, in Mystic, Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Penny, son Joel, and daughter Rebekah.

George Robert Snelson ’55 died on January 8 in Prescott, Arizona. He came to Dartmouth from Albuquerque. New Mexico.

Mark I. Starr ’55 died on December 23, 2023, in Carmel, California. He grew up in New Rochelle, New York, and came to Dartmouth from New Rochelle High School.

Newell Maynard Stulz ’55 died on January 12. He is survived by son Elliot and daughter Amy.

Richard N. Burch ’57 passed away peacefully on January 12. Dick graduated from St. Paul’s School in Garden City, New York.

Arthur K. Koff Jr. ’57 passed away on February 2. Art graduated from Francis W. Parker High School in Chicago. At Dartmouth he majored in sociology.

Edward L. Spetnagel III ’57 passed away on October 26, 2023. Ted attended Edgemont (Scarsdale, New York) schools then Choate School.
