Norman Dorf Friedlander ’47

Norman Dorf Friedlander ’47 of Greenlawn, New York, died on June 2. He grew up in New York City, attended Columbia Grammar School and entered college as a civilian. He participated in baseball and basketball and majored in economics. He served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 and returned to graduate. His life employment was as president of Dazian’s in Massapequa, New York. On retirement he and his family moved to Greenlawn. He is survived by his wife, two sons and daughter Susan Calzone ’78, Tu’80.
