Robert Edward Fisher ’67

Robert Edward Fisher ’67 of Dover, New Hampshire, died on May 18. “Fish” came to College from Deerfield Academy, majored in sociology, was a member of the Tabard and participated in Jewish Life Council, motor sports and Young Democrats. Fish enjoyed his time at the College, particularly playing pinball, poker and pool. He earned his J.D. from Boston University, practiced law in Dover for more than 45 years and was a member of the Stratford County Bar Association. He engaged in the general practice of law, with an emphasis on representing victims in automobile accidents. Bob said he “turned out to be an ambulance chaser.” He was the lawyer for the Tabard in the 1970s and 1980s and had some famous cases (such as the “Lobster War” and “Lobster Gate”). Fish is survived by wife Marjorie (Sternberg) and daughters Elizabeth, Jodie, Sarah and Samantha.
