Henry S. Moyer Jr. ’51
Henry S. Moyer Jr. ’51 died on April 25 in Jupiter, Florida. He was the founder and chief executive of the Moyer Group, an employee benefits consulting firm. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, three children and eight grandchildren. It was a source of great pleasure to him that two of his children, Sally ’83 and Todd ’86, and granddaughter Alexandra ’21 attended Dartmouth. Hank loved competitive sports. Throughout his life he was active in golf, squash, tennis, platform tennis and skiing. He played golf often at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, New York, and served as club president from 1988 to 1991. As an undergraduate at Dartmouth he was a member of the Intramural Council as well as the International Relations Club and Beta Theta Pi. Hank was active for many years as a volunteer supporting the Dartmouth College Fund and the Career Network. The Moyer Group assisted corporate clients and law firms in the design and implementation of retirement plans and other employee benefit programs. The firm was acquired in 2014 by Frenkel Benefits.
