Robert H. Snedaker ’47

Robert H. Snedaker ’47 died on September 15, 2015, in Lady Lake, Florida. He was born February 19, 1926, in White Plains, New York, where he grew up and attended high school. He matriculated in the Navy V-12 unit. He graduated summa cum laude in 1947 and with master’s degrees from Thayer and Tuck in 1949. In college he was elected to Casque & Gauntlet. He served as president of Sprint Telephone Services, United Telephone System Inc. and United Telephone of Ohio and vice president of Ohio Bell. From 1982 to 1987 he served as an overseer of Thayer School and from 1956 to 1961 as a head agent for the Alumni Fund. He is survived by five children, including Jamie ’86, and brother Richard ’49.
