Peter Harrison Dwight ’54

Peter Harrison Dwight ’54 passed away on June 21, 2015, in Sunapee, New Hampshire. Pete came to Dartmouth from Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where he attended Rivers Country Day School. He was a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon and active at WDBS. After graduating from Thayer he went to work at Turner Construction Co. as a building engineer. While at Turner he took time out for service with the Seabees. After leaving Turner he worked for the Veterans Administration (VA) at the West Roxbury and Boston medical centers as a hospital engineer. He also worked for the VA in New York City and Washington, D.C. After retirement Pete lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia, spending many summers at Sunapee. He is survived by children Jennifer, Richard ’88 and Charles.
