Richard Watkins Foard ’47


Richard Watkins Foard ’47 died on January 3 at age 88 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He came to college in the Naval V-12 unit from East Orange High School in New Jersey. He majored in mathematics and went to Naval NROTC training at Harvard from July 1944 to June 1945. He returned to graduate. He was employed as credit office manager for Joseph Ryerson Co. in Milwaukee. He served as club secretary from 1972 to 1974 and as a class agent from 1962 to 1971. He is survived by his wife and three children, including Richard ’72.
