Lars E. Persson passed away on March 5, 2023. He grew up in Far Hills, New Jersey, where he was senior class president and football captain at St. Bernard’s Prep School. At Dartmouth Lars majored in geology and participated with the Geological Society. In 1960 he received his M.S. at Vanderbilt University. Lars lived for many years in Fort Pierce, Florida, and had a career in health and science.
