Class Note 2011

Issue

September-October 2025

We were greatly saddened to learn of the death of Kathleen Kim this spring. Kathleen graduated cum laude with a major in government. After graduation Kathleen attended Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. Kathleen was a fierce advocate for human rights and battled injustice wherever she found it. Kathleen was a deeply loyal, funny, and wholly unique friend with a poetic imagination and an appreciation for the absurd, and her family and friends will miss her terribly. Kathleen’s husband and friends organized a memorial on June 7 in New York City for family and friends to pay their respects.

During its annual commencement ceremony on June 9 at the Berklee Performing Arts Center, the Boston Arts Academy Foundation (BAAF) recognized Dylan Leavitt with the 2025 Philanthropy SuperSTAR award for her support of the Boston Arts Academy, the city’s only public high school for the visual and performing arts. Dylan has curated films at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Telluride Film Festival and joined the BAAF board in July.
