Class Note 2011

Issue

July-August 2025

No one wrote in with classmate updates for this submission, so I asked Adam Reed if I could use him as an update, and he said yes, so I now have one update to share. Adam has decided the next adventure on his horizon is living in Vietnam, where he will work remotely doing the same thing he does now, preparing U.S. income tax returns.

Moving to Vietnam (and retiring) sounds great, since I just spent 8.5 hours writing a circuit court brief for an asylum applicant (who, somewhat relatedly, was inexplicably removed to his home country despite a court rule requiring the government to file a 10-day advance notice upon scheduling the removal). I wrote the brief to a lot of Green Day on repeat, having discovered through the Coachella YouTube livestream a few weeks ago that they have a lot more music than the four or so songs I knew from high school and college.

In other class news, reunion registration is still underway at this point, and the request for class officer nominees has gone out as we hold elections in reunion years. By the time this is published, you’ll ideally be headed to or have just come back from reunion!
