Barnet C. Engler ’58 passed away on July 27, 2023. Barney came to Dartmouth from Chicago, majored in economics, and was active in the Young Democrats, Pre-Law Club, WDBS, and Ledyard Canoe Club. He received a law degree from Harvard in 1961 and was a partner in a Chicago law firm. He retired in Phoenix, where he enjoyed playing golf. Barney is survived by two sons, including David ’90.
