Henry W. “Bing” Broido Jr. ’51

Henry W. “Bing” Broido Jr. ’51, described by those who knew him best as “a man of infinite variety,” died on June 23, 2023. These friends commented that “Bing moved gracefully from marketing executive to published writer to commissioner of tee ball. He loved art and history.” All who knew him admired his wry sense of humor. Bing’s career began in advertising and product development. During his working life he collaborated with talented designers, artists, museum experts, entertainment personalities, manufacturers, licensees and licensors, entrepreneurs, dreamers, and investors in a variety of industries to create innovative consumer products. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of marketing for Tiffany Color Inc., a firm noted for its sophisticated photographic techniques. His undergraduate activities at Dartmouth included membership in Pi Lambda Phi, the Undergraduate Council, and Vigilantes. He was treasurer of his freshman and sophomore classes. He played freshman soccer. Bing received his M.B.A. from the Tuck School.
