Turnaround Time

Women’s basketball hits reset.

“I believe in myself, and I want our players to believe in themselves,” says new women’s hoops coach Linda Cimino, who takes over a team that hasn’t won an Ivy title in 14 years. “It’s just shifting our mindset and thinking more optimistically and positively.” Cimino played at Adelphi and most recently coached St. Francis Brooklyn in New York. “I’m an energy person. I have a little bit of that New York City swag, but it’s not cockiness or an ego,” she adds. “I’m so excited to bring who I am to Dartmouth and to the Ivy League.” Ivy play begins January 6 when Brown comes to town.
