Christopher Sanger ’66

Christopher Sanger ’66 passed away on February 18 from a COVID infection and underlying health issues that resulted in multi-organ failure. He decided to choose the path of comfort measures instead of highly invasive procedures. At Dartmouth Chris was a government major and a member of Tau Epsilon Phi and the Dartmouth Outing Club. He received his law degree from Columbia and went on to a career in real estate with Transwestern Commercial Services that led him and his family from Maryland to California and, ultimately, to his final home in Oro Valley, Arizona, just north of Tucson. He is survived by his former wife, Carolyn, and children Amy ’94 and Ross. Donations in Chris’ memory can be made to Pima (Arizona) Animal Care Center, Pima Paws for Life, and Arizona Public Media.
