Martin E. Stackhouse ’65

Martin E. Stackhouse ’65 died on February 28 in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He came to Dartmouth from Springfield (Massachusetts) Classical High School. An English major, he was secretary of Alpha Delta Phi and participated in The Players. Following Dartmouth he received his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1968. Marty spent his professional career at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Springfield. In our 25th reunion yearbook he was listed as second vice president of the company. He is survived by sister Barbara; sister Pamela and her husband, Charley; daughter Catherine ’90 and her husband, Spencer; son Andrew; and grandchildren Alexandra and Christopher.
