Robert E. Pendergast ’58

Robert E. Pendergast ’58 passed away on February 16, 2021, of lung cancer. Butch was a Delta Kappa Epsilon brother, majored in geology, and became a career geologist. He was founder and president of Geotechnical Engineering Corp. and Pendergast Geo-engineering Inc. He also founded a STEM club in Arizona. Butch was an enthusiastic outdoorsman and loved hunting, hiking, biking, and sailing in the Caribbean. He had homes in Minnesota, Puerto Rico, and Arizona. Butch is survived by his wife, Jackie, five children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
