Harvey L. Goldstock ’51

Harvey L. Goldstock ’51, the successful leader of two linen rental companies, died on December 6, 2021, in his longtime hometown of Baltimore. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two children, including son Ted ’80; and five grandchildren. “Red” was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi at Dartmouth. He went on to earn an M.B.A. at Harvard Business School and to serve three years in the U.S. Navy. He spent 22 years in senior roles in his father-in-law’s linen rental business, then bought and turned around a bankrupt firm in the same field. He retired in 1998 after more than 40 years of active business leadership. He was active in his temple as a member of several key boards and committees and as president of the temple day school. Red was also active in local and state political affairs, as campaign chair for a congressman, and as a member of the state house of delegates. He found great pleasure in tennis, bridge, and reading.
