Neal M. Allen ’55

Neal M. Allen ’55 passed away on January 24 in Mineral Bluff, Georgia. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy and Elena. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan. Born in New York City, Neal came to Dartmouth from the Manlius School. He majored in English and was an assistant editor on The Jack-o-Lantern. He was also a member of Alpha Delta Phi and Navy ROTC. After serving three years in the Navy as a lieutenant, j.g., Neal earned an M.B.A. from New York University School of Business in 1962. He started his career as a chartered financial analyst for the Chemical Bank of New York. Neal moved to Atlanta to join Invesco Capital Management in 1972. He retired as senior vice president in 1996.
