Nicholas John Lazos ’75

Nicholas John Lazos ’75 passed away on November 8, 2019. He was born on March 25, 1953, in Zouzouli, Greece, to John and Eudoxia Lazos, who immigrated to the United States in 1956. Nick was a true son of the Granite State, growing up as the middle of three sons in Manchester, New Hampshire, and graduating as valedictorian from Manchester Memorial High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s in English and economics, graduating summa cum laude. After Dartmouth Nick received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. He returned to Manchester to cofound the real estate and corporate law firm Stebbins, Lazos, and Van Der Beken. Repeatedly named as one of New Hampshire’s Best Lawyers in New Hampshire Magazine’s annual review, Nick retired in early 2019. Nick is survived by his wife, Ashoosh; sons Michael and Stephen; his mother; and brothers Harry and Sterg. Nick was honored as an inductee into the Manchester Memorial High School Hall of Fame for his many contributions to society. His impact was felt early, and many classmates remember Nick as a kind, caring, and generous member of the class of 1975.
