Nathaniel H. Yohalem ’58
Nathaniel H. Yohalem ’58 passed away on June 6. Nat grew up in Westchester County, New York, where he was a high school track star. At Dartmouth he was president of Tau Epsilon Phi and was campus correspondent for both United Press and the New York Herald Tribune. He was an English major, took his fourth year at Tuck, and then went to Columbia Law School, graduating in 1961. He practiced corporate and regulatory law for more than 50 years and served as a Mount Vernon (New York) Democratic City Committee member. In 1972 Nat, his wife, and two daughters moved to Westfield, New Jersey, where he was a founding board member of the Westfield YMHA-YWHA. Retiring in New Marlborough, Massachusetts, Nat served on the town selectboard for nine years, including three years as chairman. He was named New Marlborough 2022 Volunteer of the Year. He is survived by Louise, his wife of more than 60 years, and two daughters.
