McEwan “Mac” Perkins ’67
McEwan “Mac” Perkins ’67 passed away on February 14 in Naples, Florida. Mac was raised in Wayland, Massachusetts, came to the College from the Belmont Hill School in Massachusetts, played hockey, and was a brother of Phi Gamma Delta. He left Dartmouth after sophomore year, served a tour in the Army in Vietnam, returned with a Bronze Star, and graduated with the class of 1969. Mac spent his career running small companies and law firms in the Hartford, Connecticut, area and pursued a life of golf and fishing in Naples. Ed Gray ’67 says of Mac’s life: “It was a great and boisterous one, which I was lucky to be a part of.” Mac is survived by his wife of 49 years, Levette; sons Clinton and Jonathon; grandson Kyle; and siblings Lyn, Susan, and John. He was predeceased by his brother, Evan.
