John Gerald Henderson Jr. ’74

John Gerald Henderson Jr. ’74 of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, died on August 24, 2022, of complications related to leukemia. John came to Hanover from Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh. At Dartmouth he was a member of Heorot and graduated with a major in anthropology. After Dartmouth John volunteered as an alumni admissions interviewer. John earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in accounting from Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and began his professional career in the Boston office of Price Waterhouse. Upon retirement as tax partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2015, he and his wife, Belinda Eichel, moved to Hilton Head Island to pursue passions for warm weather, boating, and golf. John is survived by Belinda, daughter Laura, mother Margaret, sister Ellen, brother Mark, and numerous nephews and nieces.
