John Andrew McGuire Jr. ’52

John Andrew McGuire Jr. ’52, Tu’53, passed away in Garland, Texas, on September 25, 2014, two weeks shy of his 84th birthday. John was born in New Hampshire, grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts, and graduated from Lowell High School. At Dartmouth John was a Tuck major in the 3-2 program. He also was on the staff of the Aegis as assistant business manager. He served in the U.S. Navy following college and then spent most of his adult life in the Dallas area. He was in the investment banking business. John never married. He comes from a long line of Dartmouth relatives, including brothers Robert ’57 and Augustus ’53, uncle John Reilly, class of ’19, and cousins John Reilly Jr. ’54, Philip Reilly ’55 and Thomas Reilly II ’60.
