Gary Leslie DeFoer ’67

Gary Leslie DeFoer ’67 of Oxford, Massachusetts, passed away in June 2021. He came to the College from the Boston Latin School, majored in English, was a brother of Phi Tau, and was active in the DOC. After graduation Gary received his J.D. from Boston College Law School. In addition to his work as a lawyer, he worked in a carnival; as a pit boss in Cripple Creek, Colorado; in the corporate world at Radio Shack; and in his own gaming store. He loved science fiction and space, and as a result his ashes were sent into space aboard a Celestis memorial spaceflight. He is survived by children Heather and Sean and stepdaughter Karen.
