Deighton Kimball Emmons ’52

Deighton Kimball Emmons ’52 passed away in Boxford, Massachusetts, on April 6. “Deke” was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on July 14, 1929, and prepared for college at Kimball Union Academy. At Dartmouth he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. He served in the U.S. Army as an officer during the Korea conflict and was wounded during his service. He was honorably discharged in 1953. Deke was married to Barbara for 62 years until she passed away in 2014. Their children Barbara, Deighton Jr., Christopher, and Romilly and their families survive him.
