David Goldstein ’66

David Goldstein ’66 passed away after a period of failing health on October 27, 2019, surrounded by his family at his home in Dover, New Hampshire, where he lived since 1971. Born in Baltimore, David grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. At Dartmouth he majored in economics and was a member of Delta Psi Delta and the golf team. David enjoyed a successful business career as a national director of sales with Allegiant Management, an outsourced payroll and human resources administration firm. He was also a volunteer with the United Way and the Dover Soup Kitchen and was a past president of Temple Israel. Throughout his life David was an avid golfer and skier. He was a club champion multiple times during his 48-year membership at Cochecho Country Club and coached the UNH men’s golf team for 14 years. David loved spending time with his family. Disney was a favorite destination for David. Known for his quick wit, humor, and generous spirit, David will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Davena “DeeDee”; son Bill and his wife, Catherine; daughter Andrea and her husband, Tim; three grandchildren; brother Steven and his wife, Susan; brother Robert and his wife, Kathleen; sister Mary and her husband, Wally; and cousin Susan.
