Stephen McKee Lynch ’66 of Philadelphia, a jobs training coordinator and outdoorsman, died May 14 of complications from Parkinson’s disease. Steve earned an A.B. in history from Dartmouth and an M.A.
James Skiles ’66 passed away at his home in Washington, D.C., on August 2. Born in Chicago, Jim earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law School after Dartmouth and was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar.
Walter Henry Stern ’66 passed away on August 6, surrounded by his loving family, after fighting the consequences of brain surgery and a stroke he suffered in 2011.
Dale Anthony Heckerling ’66 passed away January 10 of lung disease at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami. Dale was an all-city track star at Miami-Palmetto Senior High School. He received his A.B.
Arthur Winston Lewis ’66 passed away peacefully on January 10 in Wilmette, Illinois. Arthur was born July 1, 1926, in New York City. He left Dartmouth early to enlist in the Navy in 1943 and served for 23 years until 1966.
Robert Michael Pugh ’66 passed away on February 3 after a brief illness. Michael was surrounded in his final days by those he loved and who loved him, and passed with his sister, Susan, at his bedside.
James F. Tent ’66, historian and museum docent, died on June 25, 2018. He grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey, and after Dartmouth earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1973.
Richard Kendall Wells ’66, Th’67, an early computer entrepreneur, died unexpectedly at his home in Manhattan on January 18, 2018. Dick was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and graduated from Lebanon (New Hampshire) High School.
