Frederick D. Smith ’65 passed away on July 19, 2024, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Fred came to Dartmouth from Philadelphia via Germantown Friends School; a 3-2 Tuck School graduate, he was an economics major and member of Bones Gate.

Mark Birger Benson ’65 died on July 13 in Burlington, Vermont. “Birge” came to Dartmouth from Hanover. An anthropology major, he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi and active in the Outing Club, Cabin & Trail, and Army ROTC.
