Gerald W. Davidson ’57 passed away on October 17, 2023. Gerry grew up a small-town boy on his family’s dairy farm. Realizing as a young man that the rural life was not his desired future, he attended Dartmouth.

Robert S. Hoyt ’57 passed away on October 26, 2023, from melanoma. Bob graduated from Edina (Minnesota) High School. He began at Dartmouth, transferred to the University of Minnesota to earn a B.A.

Robert S. Crumrine ’57 died peacefully on August 8. Bob graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio. At Dartmouth he majored in biology and then earned his M.D. from the University of Rochester and was a lieutenant in the U.S.

Dirck VanBuren Myers ’57 died on November 17, 2022. Dirck came to Dartmouth from Roslyn (New York) High School. He majored in chemistry and was social chairman of Sigma Phi Epsilon and a member of the Dartmouth Film Society.

Charles E. Stevens ’57 died on July 29 surrounded by family. “Zeus” graduated from Phillips Academy. Entering Dartmouth, he excelled in socializing so much so that after two years he joined the U.S. Army for a three-year stint.
