Edward “Ned” Baker Roesler ’57 passed away on December 23, 2009, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He came to Dartmouth from the Choate School.
James E. White ’57 passed away January 15 at the Arnot-Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, New York, with his family at his side. Jim was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and came to Dartmouth from the Punxsutawney (Pennsylvania) High School.
Robert Bartlett Young ’57 passed away on December 12, 2009, following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He had come to Dartmouth from the Cate School in Santa Barbara, California.
Robert Baehr ’57 died from a blood clot in his lungs on August 14, 2009, in Grimstad, Norway. At Dartmouth Bob was active in Sigma Alpha Epsilon, squash, tennis, the Canoe Club and WDCR/WFRD.
Erich Kunzel Jr. ’57 died September 2, 2009, at his home on Swan’s Island, Maine, of cancer of the pancreas, liver and colon. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brunhilde.
Harold Marshall Trusler Jr. ’57, M.D., died April 11, 2009, in Indianapolis. “Sandy” entered Dartmouth from Shortridge High School in Indianapolis and following graduation received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1960.
