David C. Hillman ’57, M.D., died on April 12 in Jupiter, Florida. He arrived at Dartmouth from Miami Beach High School, majored in philosophy and was in Pi Lambda Phi.
Charles W. King Jr. ’57 of Atherton, California, a loving father and grandfather and businessman, died in his sleep on August 3. He was born outside Chicago, where he attended New Trier High School.
Michael B. King ’57 passed away on November 20, 2016, in Dublin, New Hampshire, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.Born in Binghamton, New York, Mike was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Massachusetts.
Robert L McCollom Jr. ’57 of Bristol, Connecticut, passed away on January 19. He grew up in Cold Spring Harbor on Long Island, New York, and graduated from Locust Valley Friends Academy.
Eugene P. Stichman ’57 died on December 9, 2013, in Washington, D.C. At Dartmouth he majored in psychology. Gene was on the staff of the Jack-O-Lantern and participated in intramural athletics.
William R. Trager ’57 of Prairie Village, Kansas, died on November 8, 2014. He graduated from Peoria (Illinois) High School. At Dartmouth he was a member of Phi Delta Theta.
Robert P. Giordano ’57 of Boxford, Massachusetts, died on October 30, 2016. He graduated from Marblehead (Massachusetts) High School. At Dartmouth Bob was a member of Chi Phi. He left Dartmouth early, served in the U.S.
Richard K. Norris ’57 died on August 12, 2016, at the Inn at Fairfield in Hudson, New Hampshire. He suffered from complications of Parkinson’s disease.
Thomas E. Barker ’57 died on August 18, 2016, in Exeter, New Hampshire, after a brief illness. Thomas grew up in New Hampshire and came to Dartmouth in 1953 from Phillips Exeter Academy.
Richard S. Cross ’57 died from a stroke in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, on February 15. Dick and his wife, Jacqueline, split their time between homes in Farmington, Connecticut, and Chebeague Island, Maine.
Robert J. Googins ’57 died on February 25. Bob grew up in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, and attended Wilbraham Academy. At Dartmouth he played soccer all four years for Coach Tommy Dent.
Walter K. Prindle ’57 passed away on May 3 in Plano, Texas. Walt graduated from Sequoia High School in San Carlos, California. At Dartmouth he majored in English and was a Daniel Webster scholar in literature.
