Class Note 1938
Mar - Apr 2014
Think spring! This is the best advice I can give you! It’s the end of December and a “balmy” 13 degrees in New England. Christmas is a memory—it wasn’t a white Christmas, but we did have snow today.
I hope you and your families had a very happy holiday and my wish for you is a happy and healthy 2014. I have no news to offer which, in some instances is good—at least we have not lost any of our beloved class members that I know of!
Hard to believe that as you are reading this, there are only a few months left at dear old Dartmouth before graduation. Amazing how time flies. No one can attest to this better than you! Where have the years gone—arriving in Hanover in 1934 and graduating in 1938, and here it is 76 years later!
Lots of changes have taken place in your lives over the past 90-plus years—and 2014 will not be the exception. With all the goings-on in this world, I do not foresee them as being positive changes—positive reinforcements and values will take a long time in coming. But we can’t give up hope; it will happen in time.
I am well and hope you are too! All the best to you and yours!
