Class Note 2014
Issue
November-December 2026
Class Note 2014. Hard to believe the holiday season is already fast approaching—especially as I’m writing this from London in August, where it feels as though we’ve had nonstop 90-degree weather since May—quite a rarity since our summers are, on average, not immensely different from our Novembers, often calling for a fuzzy sweater by sundown. Although my hottest day by far was spent not in London but in Spain, roaming the dusty Roman ruins of Tarragona before the city briefly, and mercifully, went darkish and cool during the minute-long total eclipse. It was very cool to see, but the two-hour train back was decidedly not—slow-moving, jam-packed, and someone was able to write “Hot!” alongside a game of tic-tac-toe on the condensed window. November sweater weather starts to sound nice in comparison! Anyway, on to the updates.
The annual Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Forum was held in September in San Francisco. Attendees may have spotted Jenieri Cyrus, co-hosting a “Dartmouth Angels” breakout session in his role as investor for Urban Innovation Fund.
Geovanni Cuevas graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2024 and has been clerking for the past two years. He will be moving back to New Jersey to start practicing as an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission attorney this fall.
Marissa (Wizig) Klegman writes in, “A few years back I left McKinsey and pivoted to Jewish nonprofit. I just wrapped up my third summer as executive director at Camp Seneca Lake and am grateful to be leading this 99-year-old institution into its next century. My husband, Andrew, and son Tyler join me at camp each summer, and as part of my role we made a big move relocating from Boston to Rochester, New York. I would love to connect with any fellow alums in western New York. And to all of our medically inclined classmates, please reach out if you ever want to spend a week staffing our camp health center!”
Christie Morley, who has been living in Paris since 2018 and working at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development since 2021, married Amaury Edmond Pierre Marotte in a civil ceremony on August 14 in Cap Ferret in the south of France with family and close friends in attendance. They will be celebrating their wedding reception on November 21 at La Ferme du Prieuré in Rennemoulin, France.
Finally, in October the Class of 1964/2014 James Wright ’64a Outstanding Leadership Award was presented to President Sian Leah Beilock. Selected jointly by the classes of 1964 and 2014, the award recipient must be a member of the Dartmouth community who represents “responsible leadership in the ongoing life of the institution,” to quote class president Fritz Corrigan ’64. Corrigan notes, “President Beilock has positioned Dartmouth as a global leader on some of the most pressing issues in higher education and the world.” Thanks to Daniel Bornstein, Jessica Womack, and Holly Foster for representing the ’14s in the award committee. If you’re interested in joining next year’s committee, get in touch at dartmouth.class.of.2014@dartmouth.edu.
