Class Note 2013. Happy holidays, everyone!
Max Hunter has been booked and busy in New York City. As founding producing director of The Bridge Production Group and a managing partner of the Empyrean Club, a new theater venue in Brooklyn, he recently directed the American premiere of The Pass to rave reviews. This news comes to us via James Lee, who added: “Wedding bells were ringing when Max said je la fais (I do) to Nancy Hunter (formerly Fallon, no relation to Jimmy) in an enchanting, fairytale wedding amongst the Renaissance castles of Vallery, France. They were surrounded by a delegation of Dartmouth alums, family, and others. Vive les mariés!”
Sean Kaufman is “proud to announce I’ve just started medical school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York, after completing my M.S. in human physiology there last year—Dartmouth ’13 to Downstate ’30!”
Odochi Uwazurike has moved to North Carolina to pursue a J.D. at the High Point University Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law. Charlotte Williams and Joe Schwappach have traded Los Angeles for Jupiter, Florida, with their two kiddos in tow and would love to hear from any classmates in the area. Luisa Sperry and husband Michael Adelman ’10 welcomed daughter Helen at the end of July. She joins big brother Simon, who just turned 4. Luisa is a physician at NYU Langone, and the family lives in Forest Hills, New York.
Finally, after nine years in “Big Law” as a litigator, Colin Harris entered government service as attorney advisor at the Federal Communications Commission Space Bureau, working on licensing and rulemaking proceedings concerning telecommunications infrastructure in space. I feel I should make some witty “out-of-this-world” joke here, but I guess I’ll just say thanks to Colin for helping regulate the satellites we’re all increasingly dependent upon.
