Class Note 1993
Issue
November-December 2026
Class Note 1993. While we’re all gearing up for the holidays, our news is coming in from the summer! So, we’re here to put a little sunshine in your brrrr.
Julie Gordon Willis posted about getting together with Tig Tillinghast, Olaf Minge, and Lisabeth Sewell ’92 in Mount Philo State Park in Vermont in late June.
That same month, Bridget Eng Calhoun posted about attending a Major League Pickleball event in N.Y.C.
Munir Haddad saw Nicole Rabner on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Our daughters became friends during the summer, and by the time you’re reading this will both be rocking Hanover together.
Robert McConnaughey posted that he has joined the volunteer board of directors for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, which is responsible for protecting and advocating for the 2,200 miles of the iconic trail—and, secretary’s note, one of the most Dartmouth things one can do outside of Dartmouth.
In September, a few ’93s were speakers at the Dartmouth Entrepreneurs Forum in San Francisco, including Andrew Beebe, who moderated “Power Panel for the Ages” about how energy, climate, and mobility worlds are continuing their game-changing transition; Tracey (Pettengill) Turner, who spoke on the panel about social entrepreneurship; and Peter McHugh, who moderated a panel on “AI x Media, Music, & Marketing.”
A quick note on Milton Hamblin, who was incorrectly listed as Martin in previous Class Notes, apologies for the error. Milton will remain Milton for us.
